Hell & Death

What the Bible really says?!

Hell & Death

(Revelation 1:18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

In my old Seventh Day Adventist church I used to attend, one of the church elders would say in front of God and everyone "God is not a fair God." I contemplated his words for a long time. Finally I spoke up and said God is a fair God. I don't know if those were the exact words or not or if I just spoke them to this elder but I wanted to give God glory. When you read the Bible and not an NLT, NKJV, NASB, Amplified, NIV or other modern Bible you may be fooled about God's love. A lot of it has to do with interpretation and as far as I go I threw out much of what the church had been teaching. This of course meant throwing out all Jehovah Witness teachings from years ago and Ellen G. White who I know to be a false prophet. I also used to attend Bethel Church in Redding California who I believe to be a very evil church.

Back to my main point which I am still on track. People are often deceived as I was involved in all three of these churches. Will I go to hell for this??? Well God knows our hearts and God knew I wanted to worship him with a body of believers. What I did was wrong and even though I have very good wisdom in the Bible I was duped by these false religions. God knows the beginning from the end and God is a fair God. I have read portions of the New World Translation and its wicked deceptions. I also read greater portions of the NKJV, the NIV and NIrV. One thing that defines a church is if their store sells King James Bibles or not and if not what is the counterfeit? Little Country Church in Redding California does not sell King James Bibles and I heard Bethel does not either. This is a dangerous ploy.

A lot of churches will try and cater to people of different ages and personalities. While that is all fine, it is what you sacrificed to get to where you are now. If you traded in your King James for a more appealing "easy to read" Bible you have spit in God's face already. If you try and switch back you will probably lose all your Laodocians that are lukewarm and strattling the fence. If you lose half your tithe because of this absense of people and can still keep the doors open praise God. No where in the Bible does it say God wants fancy sound boards, expensive sound tuning, or all kinds of rich and pretty faces. (Mat 5:5) Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

In two places in the Bible the Old Testament and once in the New Testament the Bible says something about death. (Deu 21:22) And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: (Deu 22:26) But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

(1Jn 5:16) If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.  (1Jn 5:17) All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

There are levels of sins just like there are levels of hell, and God's punishment fits the crime. God won't condemn a man or woman for living right according to the Bible. The Bible does however say:

(Joh 15:22) If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

We cannot use the cloak of ignorance as a covering for sin. As far as I know all tribes, all tongues, all people's must by now have access to either the Bible or the truth about Christ as LORD. Yes Jesus is LORD which is a part of salvation but that does not buy the whole ranch. Good behavior has a lot to do with salvation. If you go around as I did in sin, your damnation is hell or death. See the Bible tells us: (Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Underlining my emphasis. The wages of sin is described as death not hell but death can also be everlasting punishment in hell. (Eze 18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Once again the Bible defines sinning a sin can be worthy of death not hell.

Modern Bibles take out the word "lowest" used in the Bible twice in front of hell. In fact hell is often removed from modern Bibles and replaced with their Hebrew root word sheol, or in Greek hades or gehanna, though tartaroo is hard to cover up. Let's look at the lowest hell: (Deu 32:22) For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Psa 86:13) For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

From H8478; lowermost; as noun (feminine plural) the depths (figuratively a pit, the womb): - low (parts, -er, -er parts, -est), nether (part).

Low lower and lowest hell is what the Bible describes and yes the punishment fits the crime. Now let's look at something Moses said.

(Exo 32:32) Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Moses wasn't asking God to send him to hell but rather that he might simply be blotted out of the book of life and be in eternal death. Moses knew the difference. When Jesus, being God the Son, said he had the keys of hell and death he knew there was a separation. I recall years ago in prison reading a pamphlet from the Seventh Day Adventist Church where they said hell was not real. One of the verses they used was Daniel 12:2. (Dan 12:2) And manyH7227 of them that sleepH4480 H3463 in the dustH6083 of the earthH127 shall awake,H6974 someH428 to everlastingH5769 life,H2416 and someH428 to shameH2781 and everlastingH5769 contempt.H1860

Looking at the word "everlasting" it is the same Hebrew word H5769 in both cases. This word is defined as follows:

עלם עולם
‛ôlâm ‛ôlâm
o-lawm', o-lawm'
From H5956; properly concealed, that is, the vanishing point; generally time out of mind (past or future), that is, (practically) eternity; frequentative adverbially (especially with prepositional prefix) always: - always (-s), ancient (time), any more, continuance, eternal, (for, [n-]) ever (-lasting, -more, of old), lasting, long (time), (of) old (time), perpetual, at any time, (beginning of the) world (+ without end). Compare H5331, H5703.

This word seems to describe eternity but here is the deal: Following the word everlasting the first time is "life." The second time everlasting appears in the above verse, it is followed by contempt. Here is how the Hebrew scripture defines contempt.

דּראון דּראון
derâ'ôn dêrâ'ôn
der-aw-one', day-raw-one'
From an unused root (meaning to repulse); an object of aversion: - abhorring, contempt.

This word is not so easily defined but could easily be interpreted as hell or death. See death is the dying of the soul where nothing happens. One is simply blotted out of existence. Hell is punishment otherwise called eternal damnation. The dead know nothing and even their memory that they ever existed is forgotten lest we worry about our once dear loved ones that did not make it.

(Ecc 9:5) For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Furthermore the Bible also states:

(Ecc 9:10) Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

This is the state of the dead but the state of hell is much much worse.

(Mat 23:33) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

You can't escape and many of the giants that Enock spoke of are incarcerated right now in Antarctica which is simply this circle where the earth ends. In the book of Job giants are described where they are now frozen where there have been encounters with them as the ice is melting. (Job 6:16) Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid: (Job 6:17) What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place.

As for other residents of hell they go there instantly. (Psa 55:15) Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. Furthermore the Bible describes hell as:

(Isa 5:14) Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

I have to touch on a few more things and while this site grows and the pages get longer I need to say what I have to say. You get what you put into God's piggy bank. If you do nothing you get nothing. If you are just in church to hear what a swell person you are, warm pews, and do business or whatever else church is to you then fully expect God to treat you as you have treated him!

(Gal 6:7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(Job 4:8) Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

You may or may not realize this but God can make you a slave in his Kingdom. (Isa 61:5) And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

What more can I say obey God and live!!!
